This experience had an indelible influence on the writing and recording of the appropriately titled Hall Music, an expansive record that finds Svanangen closer to creating the type of orchestral music he has always sought to bring to life on stage (whether he's actually playing with an orchestra or not).
Hall Music, Loney Dear's fifth album and second on Polyvinyl, will be available on October 4, 2011, on 180 gram cyan-colored vinyl, CD, and MP3 formats. London based label Something In Construction just released a compilation called Love SIC Disco. The compilation features a new track by Loney Dear "Loney Blues", as well as artists such as Memoryhouse, Memory Tapes, The Concretes, Houses, and MNDR. As of today, Citadel Band is now available on beautiful mixed color vinyl! The album was recorded in the basement of Emil Svanängen's parent's house and was remastered by John Golden at Golden Mastering. The mixed colored LPs are limited to 1000 copies.
