You say your Friday would be made if another Xiu Xiu video was released? Preferably from their last album, Angel Guts: Red Classroom, and entirely shot in crusty black and white? Thank god we have one for "Archie's Fades" that you can peep at then. Directed by Marty Marquez, the video takes Lynchian turns as the camera follows a stranger with many masks.
Pillar Point's very first music video was released today on Noisey, and we couldn't be more proud. The "Dreamin'" music video features a contortionist dancing through the streaming crowds of New York City, and then moves to gorgeous shots of ballet and breakdancing in a snowy countryside. Noisey calls it a "playful and beautifully shot video [that] perfectly compliments the dreamy, synth-driven track". Watch the video above, or watch it on Noisey to see what else they have to say.
If you like what you hear and you haven't had a chance yet, you can listen to and purchase their self-titled debut album at our E-store.
During Their / They're / There's last Chicago show at Schubas, Made of Chalk filmed a few songs which are now live on IMPOSE! Watch "New Blood" above then head to IMPOSE to see a clip of "Traveler's Insurance" and read an interview with singer Evan Weiss.
The new Xiu Xiu album, Angel Guts: Red Classroom, comes out tomorrow, but the band didn't want you to wait that long for something new. Stereogum just debuted the band's new video for "Stupid in the Dark," which features Angela Seo participating in some pretty horrific behavior. I don't usually have nightmares while working at PV...but I just might today. Watch it above or on StereogumHERE.
Deerhoof just debuted a brand new video for "Flower" (off their latest album Breakup Song). Check it out above or head over to Stereogum HERE. The band also announced new Euro & US tour dates for this Spring! Check those out below and pick up Breakup SongHERE.

Here's Painted Palms' new video for "Forever," the title track to their debut album (which was just released last week on 1/14). The video was directed by Ours & Yours and features lead singer Christopher Prudhomme gettin' wild in the desert. Watch it above and check out what Stereogum had to say about it HERE.
KEXP invited Pillar Point into the studio a few months ago for a full performance, and now you can watch them play songs off of their debut self-titled album out February 25th. In the middle of the video they stop to chat about past project Throw Me The Statue, and how Pillar Point emerged. Watch above for a rare sneak-peak at unreleased material, and stop by our e-store to pre-order.
This past summer Wampire stopped by KEXP for an AWESOME full performance and interview. During the interview they chatted about touring with Smith Westerns, their early videos with Into The Woods, and Indian buffets. The songs you hear are from their debut release, Curiosity, which can be found for purchase HERE. Check it all out above via that Youtube video.
Math rock supergroup They're/Their/There (members from Owen, Into It. Over It., Loose Lips Sink Ships, American Football) released their first music video today, and we couldn't be more psyched. "New Blood" is true to its name and features a stomach-turning amount of blood as rain, toothpaste, and even as syrup over waffles. Off of their Analog Weekend EP officially out tomorrow, you can find the music video on Alternative Press or check the video above.
Beware, anyone who grosses out easily - these booger shots are not for the faint of stomach. In The Dodos' animated new music video for "Transformer", a solitary man in a log cabin picks his shnoz and adds it to an expanding ball of nose goo. But then, his nose turns on him. Directed by Spencer Hicks and animated by Jess Wheelock, "Transformer" comes off of The Dodos fifth studio released album, Carrier. Pick it up at our e-store HERE, and watch the music video on Fuse HERE.
Holy smokes, Batman Kid! Wampire just debuted a brand new music video for "The Hearse" on Gorilla vs. Bear today. Click HERE to watch it on GvB for a cinematic narrative complete with huge 80's hair and attempted murder, as directed by the talented Raphaël Pfeiffer.
"The Hearse" is off of Wampire's recently released album Curiosity, and you can purchase it at our e-store HERE.
Another of Montreal radio session?! Yep, you're in luck. The band took time out of their tour to stop by KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic session for an in-studio performance. Watch "She Ain't Speakin' Now" above, or click HERE to see "Fugitive Air", both off of their latest release, Lousy With Sylvianbriar. Dunno if the band will be in your town soon? Tour dates are HERE.
You know what you should do? You should watch this intimate performance of Kevin Barnes and Rebecca Cash singing an acoustic version of "She Ain't Speakin' Now". Filmed by 405tv, the session features the duo hanging out in a London flat during their most recent trip to the UK. Watch it on Youtube above, or click HERE to get to 405tv's posting.
"She Ain't Speakin' Now" is off of of Montreal's last release, Lousy with Sylvianbriar, available for purchase HERE.
Recently of Montreal stepped into the studio for a WNYC Soundcheck session while on a New York City tour pitstop. You can listen to the full session, and watch Kevin Barnes and Rebecca Cash croon "Fugitive Air" and "Raindrop In My Skull" on Soundcheck's website HERE. Above we've left you "Fugitive Air" for a quick tease of the whole performance.
Watch the tiniest new band member of Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin shake his robotic bad self in their new video for "Unearth". Yowza, is it adorable. They filmed him while touring in Japan, everywhere from karaoke bars to sushi spots. MTV Hive debuted the video, and you can find their commentary HERE.
"Unearth" is off of their recently released album Fly By Wire, which you can find RIGHT HERE.
Mike Kinsella stumbles and weaves through a new Owen music video for "Bad Blood" directed by Guise (Samuel Gursky and Mitchell Wojcik) where the mourners for a funeral gather in a record store. Off of his recently released album L'ami du Peuple, the song digs deep into a family's unexposed roots with SPIN describing it as "a majestic, country-informed single". Check out the Youtube video above, or head over to SPIN to watch!
Our friends over at Audiotree Live filmed Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin in a session that showcases a few songs off of their latest album, Fly By Wire, as well as familiar favorites. With Audiotree describing Fly By Wire "as contagious as ever," you'd be silly not to watch. You can buy the five songs for $5.99 on their website HERE, and/or ogle the session for free.
of Montreal's new video for "Fugitive Air" already made its debut on Huffington Post a few weeks ago, but now the totally Safe For Work version is up and ready to be watched all around the office! The video was directed by Nina Barnes and was shot in Miami, FL and Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Check it out!
