See. Amazing, just like I told you right?
For Fly By Wire, the band took it back to where it all began, up in guitarist Will Knauer's attic in their hometown of Springfield, MO (the same attic that their critcally acclaimed debut album, Broom, was recorded in). Fly By Wire has many of the same characteristics as Broom, but with a few new twists and turns.
"In a modest yet striking feat, this Missouri combo blends late Beatles and prime Beach Boys to create a fresh and moving gem." -Mother Jones
"Buoyant, unassumingly ornate, and gently urgent...SSLYBY hasn't shed an ounce of its charm." - Magnet
