KEXP invited Pillar Point into the studio a few months ago for a full performance, and now you can watch them play songs off of their debut self-titled album out February 25th. In the middle of the video they stop to chat about past project Throw Me The Statue, and how Pillar Point emerged. Watch above for a rare sneak-peak at unreleased material, and stop by our e-store to pre-order.
This past summer Wampire stopped by KEXP for an AWESOME full performance and interview. During the interview they chatted about touring with Smith Westerns, their early videos with Into The Woods, and Indian buffets. The songs you hear are from their debut release, Curiosity, which can be found for purchase HERE. Check it all out above via that Youtube video.

Our friends over at Audiotree Live filmed Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin in a session that showcases a few songs off of their latest album, Fly By Wire, as well as familiar favorites. With Audiotree describing Fly By Wire "as contagious as ever," you'd be silly not to watch. You can buy the five songs for $5.99 on their website HERE, and/or ogle the session for free.
KEXP caught The Dodos performance at Doug Fir for their Musicfest NW broadcast and lucky for you, we're spreading the news as far as we can. If you can't see them on this tour, no need to fret. You can see them play "The Current" above, or head over to KEXP to watch the entire show.
In case you've been holed-up marathoning Breaking Bad these last few months, of Montreal is releasing a NEW album on October 8th titled Lousy with Sylvianbriar. Leading up to that very exciting day, Kevin Barnes and Rebecca Cash performed "Fugitive Air" for a Gigwise Session in which Kevin muses about stealing oil from cat's eyes, and negative emotions towards an unnamed relationship. Click the link below to watch!
The Dodos decided to kick off a MASSIVE fall tour by playing on The Late Show with David Letterman last week. So, did everyone stay up to watch? Even if you didn't make it (like me), you can still watch them performing "Confidence" through the powers of the wonderful world wide web, er, I mean the video above.
Generationals sat down for a super intimate Amoeba Green Room Session in Hollywood during their last US tour. Check out the video above of them playing "Spinoza" off of their spring released album, Heza, or follow the link below for the full performance!

Holy moly this is good! The Dodos recently stopped by John Vanderslice's legendary Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco, CA to perform a few songs with the lovely Magik Magik Orchestra. Yours Truly (not me...this rad site) was there to capture the band's performace of "The Ocean," which is featured on their upcoming album, Carrier (out 8/27). Watch the video above, or over on The AV Club.
If you weren't able to stay awake last night for Japandroids' performance of "Adrenaline Nightshift" on The Late Show with David Letterman (or you just don't have cable like me), the performance is up now on Pitchfork.
Letterman calls the album "Celebrity Rock"...but the dude is around celebrites all day...so maybe he just got a bit confused. Either way, Brian and Dave were awesome last night. Watch the performance above!

Deerhoof recently got the chance to record a song for "Masters From Their Day," an on-going series that documents artists recording a song in just one day. In this episode, Deerhoof work with Chris Shaw, who has worked on tons of amazing records (Weezer's Blue Album, Public Enemy's It Takes a Nation of Millions To Hold Us Back, and more), on the song "Sexy, But Sparkly," which is featured on the vinyl version of our latest sampler, Hey Girl, Hey, available RIGHT HERE.
QRO Magazine wrote up a great review for Xiu Xiu's Portland show, even comparing Stewart's on-stage writhing with Morrissey. Follow the link below to read on. Also be sure to check out the live video above to see Jamie Stewart and Angela Seo performing "Hi".
