Shipping And Handling
How long will my order take to ship?
We generally ship orders out the next business day after they are received.
What are the shipping options?
U.S. Orders (First Class): Smaller orders (under 13 oz) are given the option of shipping via First Class Mail (2-7 day delivery). Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with your delivery confirmation number.
U.S. Orders (Priority Mail): All orders are given the option of shipping via Priority Mail (1-5 day delivery). Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with your delivery confirmation number.
U.S. Orders (Media Mail): Our most inexpensive option shipping option for US orders is Media Mail (up to 14 day delivery). Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with your delivery confirmation number.
U.S. Orders (FedEx Ground): FedEx Ground is insured and trackable. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. Transit time is generally 1-5 days anywhere in the U.S.
U.S. Orders (FedEx Overnight): FedEx Overnight is insured and trackable. Once your order is shipped, you'll receive an email with your tracking number. FedEx Overnight orders will arrive the next business day as long as the order is placed by 2:00 PM.
International Orders: You may choose between International Mail and FedEx International upon checkout. The proper shipping cost will be calculated and displayed in your shopping cart.
Digital Downloads
All digital downloads are provided in 320kbps DRM-free MP3 format. At checkout, you will be taken to a page where you can download all albums and/or songs you have purchased. Downloads are available for 30 days from the date of purchase. To return to the page at any time during this period, you can bookmark the page or follow the link provided in your order confirmation e-mail. You will need to log in with your order number.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders typically ship 10 days (sometimes earlier) before an album's release date; however, you will be charged as soon as you place the order. If you pre-order an album, 320kbps DRM-free MP3s will be made available for download on the pre-order ship date.
If you ever need to cancel or add extra items to a pre-order (or any order for that matter), please contact mailorder@polyvinylrecords.com or call 217-403-1752 ext. 223.
You may order other items along with your pre-order; however the entire order will ship together on the pre-order ship date. If you'd like other items to ship earlier, you will need to place a separate order for those items.
Back Orders
If something you order is temporarily out of stock (which rarely occurs), we'll put it on backorder for you and ship it separately. This will not slow down the shipping of any other items you ordered.
Credit Card Security
Our site is secured by VeriSign SSL encryption. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) software encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number and expiration date, name, address, etc and ensures that it cannot be read as the information travels over the internet.
Polyvinyl will never ask for you to send personal or financial information by, in response to, or via a link in an email. If you receive any email asking for this kind of information, it is not from Polyvinyl.
Privacy Policy
Cookies are used in the Polyvinyl Online Store, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.
