Chicago's emo (READ: EMO) darlings return for their 5th LP. Will it be their last? Who is to say. I've been watching Dowsing grow and evolve for many many years and this iteration may be their strongest yet. It's focused, confident, comfortable in its own skin.

Dowsing in 2023 knows exactly what it is. No One Said This Would Be Easy is a breakup record in my opinion. I don't care what Rik has to say about it. We all need a good breakup record and that's exactly what this is.
