Shiverstruck, the brilliant new record from IAN SWEET (Jilian Medford), is out now worldwide. The finger-plucked guitar at the very top of the album tips off the emotional core to follow. Here we find Jilian looking both at herself and her past, but also at what it means to create, to have a life as an artist. 

To borrow a tagline, it's a record about making a record. It's also about striving for an unknown horizon of "success" (whatever that is). It's a devastatingly direct inspection delivered over some of the most bubblegum-charged choruses, swelling guitars, and goosebump-rendering vocal flexes.
