Prepare to have your mind blown. Today American Football have shared a stunning music video for “Every Wave To Ever Rise" (ft. Elizabeth Powell) taken from their new, critically acclaimed album American Football (LP3), out now.

Debuted via Juxtapoz Magazine, the gorgeous and intricate stop motion video was created by New York City based artist Ian Ferguson (AKA Hydeon). The video, explains Ferguson, is comprised of 5000+ individual and unique photos, and was filmed entirely in his 250 square foot Brooklyn apartment for seven days straight with minimal breaks to leave the space to pick up food or get 10 minutes of fresh air. “10 out of 10 this is one of the most difficult, challenging, but also creative projects I’ve ever been a part of” he shares. “I felt like I was on a psychedelic trip for the entire duration, living in a miniature world. I felt like I actually became one of the characters as I animated their tiny limbs and pieces, one photo at a time,” Ferguson further explains. “We existed in this miniature world for upwards of 18+ hours a day. We would film 60 seconds of stop animation a day to reach our goal. We were solving countless problems around the clock and collaborating on ideas constantly. I completely lost myself in the project, completely surrendered myself to it. Nothing else mattered beyond the film in that moment. It was truly a magical and spiritual experience for me that I'll never forget.”
