Friends, past tour mates, songwriters, and musicians Maya Bon of the Hudson Valley New York duo Babehoven, and Ella Williams of the Chicago based project Squirrel Flower, are thrilled to share their first ever collaborative release – a cover of "My Life in Art" by beloved British rock band Mojave 3.

Originally appearing on the Slowdive-adjacent group's sophomore album, Excuses for Travellers (4AD), Babehoven and Squirrel Flower's beautifully lush and layered rendition breathes with life and flows with emotion. As the song culminates with its haunting refrain of "I'll kill you just for trying," Bon and Williams powerful voices swim in tandem, taking turns in rising to the surface, lovingly recreating the harmonies of Neil Halstead and Rachel Goswell into something of their own singular making.
